Judy Stakee songwriting workshop

June 14, 2016 @ 2:30 pm - 5:30 pm

FREE

Trinity are very pleased to be able to offer you a fantastic opportunity to take part for free in a practical workshop by songwriting mentor and creative guru Judy Stakee. The workshop is aimed at anyone who writes songs (or is interested in writing) and gives unique insights and tools to develop and improve your creative process and artistic perspective.

During the workshop Judy will introduce herself and her methodology and then will critique selected participants’ work, giving advice on how to hone in on a clear perspective, tell a story in song, and effectively edit your material. This will be followed by a Q & A where the audience can share Judy’s knowledge and perspective on how the music industry works.

Judy has over 30 years of experience as an executive in the music industry. As Senior VP of Creative at Warner Chappell Music for 20 years, she is responsible for signing, coaching, and inspiring many of today’s most acclaimed award-winning artists, including Grammy-award winner Sheryl Crow, Katy Perry, Joy Williams, and For King & Country. Her experience with developing producers and multi-platinum songwriters ranges across all areas and genres of music.
