National Youth Orchestra are now recruiting musicians to take part in NYO Inspire activity throughout 2020 and applications will close on Monday 28 October at 9am.

If you would like to take part in the NYO Inspire Day activity with Gustavo Dudamel in November 2019, you must submit your application before Monday 30 September, 11.59pm to be considered.

NYO Inspire provides orchestral opportunities to musicians who are underrepresented in the sector, which is why applications are only open to Black and minority ethnic (BME) musicians or musicians who are state educated or home-schooled.

Please note that there are limited places available, and it is not guaranteed that you will have a place on the programme, but we make every effort to include as many musicians as possible. You will be considered for all NYO Inspire projects that you’re available for and be contacted by December 2019.

By taking part in NYO Inspire activity, you will automatically be considered for NYO Inspire Orchestra. They invite musicians they have met at NYO Inspire activity throughout the year to take part in NYO Inspire Orchestra.
