Percussion and drums

Playing drums and percussion is really satisfying. You can get rid of all your bad mood on a drum kit, you can knock out some cheeky tunes on the xylophone, or you can have the grand boom of the timpani.

There are loads of different instruments to get skilled on. You might find yourself clashing the cymbals at the climax of the music, or grooving on a tambourine.

It’s a great feeling to be driving a rock band along with a funky beat. Imagine keeping an orchestra together with your solid timing. All eyes are on you as you whack the gong.

We teach percussion and drums in schools across the borough and at Newham Music Academy, our after-school and Saturday music centre. To enquire about lessons please email info@newham-music.org.uk or call us on 020 3598 6260.
