Come One, Come All

Pupils at Selwyn Primary created this song after learning the unique history of Queen’s Road Market. Over 100 years old, it’s been said to be “arguably the most ‘London’ of London’s markets, a heady collision of different immigrant communities – Afro-Caribbean, Indian, Bangladeshi, south-east Asian – under one roof.”

This song was also accompanied using a harmonium – a portable stringed instrument in a wooden box which originated in West Bengal and became an integral part in Indian music.
