Saturday Academy Open Day

Join us on Saturday 18 January for a day of workshops and open rehearsals at our Saturday Academy!

All of our Academy ensembles will be welcoming new members in the new year. Our doors will be open at St Luke’s Primary School, E16 1JB on 18th January from 9am-1pm to anyone who is interested in trying out a new music group.

I already take music lessons, why should I join an ensemble?

Joining an ensemble can not only help you progress faster in your music development, but it leads to new friendships and exciting performance opportunities that you might not get from lessons.

In 2019 our Academy ensembles performed at City Hall, the Tower of London, Stratford Circus Arts Centre, the Newham Show, London Jazz Festival Summer Stage, and the Royal Albert Hall. You can join us at our next big performance!

What ensembles can I try on the open day?

We’ll start the day with a group workshop for the entire Academy and all visitors. Then you’ll have an opportunity to join rehearsals for our Jazz Band, Academy Guitars, Training Orchestra, Bridging Sounds Orchestra, and Youth Orchestra.

OK, I’ll be there. How do I sign up?

If you’re interested in joining the Academy or trying it out on the open day, fill in the google form here with your information and we will see you in the new year!

I still have questions.
